Title: Beech B200 Super King Air with full ADS/B
Post by: tarbat on July 15, 2009, 01:53:08 PM
A first for me.  ModeS A125FE, registration N173TC, a Beech B200 Super King displaying on the map doing training approaches at Inverness Airport.  Now on the ground.

I've never seen a Beech B200 with full ADS/B before.

I've seen a few, G-KVIP for instance. Also some of the RAF ones that are owned by civilian contractors have it - G-RAFP (owned by Serco) springs to mind.

Thanks Tom.  Out of 120 Beech 200s in my log, it's the first with ADS/B.  The ones you menton, G-KVIP and G-RAFP, have only been ModeS, no ADS/B.  Maybe they've had ADS/B added recently if you've seen them on the map?

I would agree, G-RAPF and G-KVIP have always appeared in my log without coordinates.

Having said that BAE Systems' G-CDZT does plot (their other one, G-CDFY, doesn't), and so do quite a few German BE20s.
