Title: how do i see the flight number?

is it when the pilot inserts the flinght numbrt on the FMC?
and if so, how do i know flight numbers of aircraft with only INS like the 742?

I assume it works the same way as when a single-engined Cessna or Piper pilot programs a Flight ID into their Mode S transponder.

You don't currently see those displayed in V2.0, but you will in V3.0
