Title: A Bit Cramped !
Post by: dl1812 on March 07, 2009, 12:04:12 PM
My RB is currently showing AAL113 as departing Heathrow for KMIA, and as being operated by "N7942B" - a C172 !!!

Fair old hop for one of them with 200 passengers on board.
Wonder how they'll fit in - pictues of the passengers on the wings of the A320 on the Hudson River come to mind....

It's good to smile !

Funny thing, I just had exactly the same thing, different aircraft though.
Box reported a c172 (OK-TEC) at 37000ft with a gs of 445 from LKPR-ENGM.

As before, check the mode S code with airframes or GAS. Another case of short-sighted pilots putting in incorrect details.

Cheers,

Ian

Another case of short-sighted pilots putting in incorrect details.

No - it's simply a tie-up that's incorrect, nothing to do with what the crew has or hasn't done.
