Title: Wrong table in Quick Filter for Airline
Post by: viking9 on January 26, 2009, 09:06:41 AM
When I select Airline in Quick Filter all I see in the pull-down box are numbers instead of airline names. It's OK in MyLog. Is this a bug?

I have the same problem as well, no airlines appear in the quick filter. I have also noticed it doesnt show all acft types either no matter what I do.

It is bug regarding the airline names.

The aircraft which are in MyFlights at that time will only be in the filter box, so if there is no A380 in your list it won't be in the filter box either.

The aircraft type ie A380 is nothing to do with this issue is it ?

I have a similar problem, Airnav, have you understood the question ?, I think what is being asked is why do the airlines in the filter dropdown appear as numbers? for example I have just selected Airline = 123 in the dropdown and this shows me the ANA flights ? 51 is Air France?

Have you looked under Company Instead of Airline

abrad41,

Yes tried it, but shouldnt Airline = Airline ?

ie. The airline is the airline that is operating the aircraft with the flight number used.

Company is the registered company according to Navdata/GAS

It would be good if it said what is says on the tin, if you get my meaning.

But this wouldn't work for aircraft that aren't displaying a valid callsign (Flight ID).

I use Flight ID = BAW* etc in the quick filters to show airline.

And what Flight ID would you use to catch US Air Force aircraft?
