Title: Saved Views
Post by: unixboi on June 19, 2007, 01:20:05 PM
Hi

Does the RadarBox software offer named saved views?

I notice reference to 'Multi-Window tracking' for AirNavLive. Does this feature in the RadarBox software and is this a collection of position, zoom ratio and display preferences which can be named, saved and retrieved?

Yes, you can save your maps views. For instance one may be zoomed into your area with all the ILS and VORs shown. Another map which will be zoomedout and showing a large area where you don't want the VORs and ILS cluttering up the map.

Thank You!

That is the right answer. The example usage you gave was exactly what I had in mind.

This next question may seem blindingly obvious but can these saved views be quickly visually switched by selecting a cascading or tiled sub window or a tabbed window selection?

Yes, they can be tiled or cascaded :) . You can the save that desktop view so you don't need to recreate it each time you start the software.

Thank You again

You keep giving me the right answers, tabs would be nice but tiles and cascades are effective and offer the required functionality.
