Hi John,

Is it possible for you to zoom in on EHAM and make a screenshot, and could you post it here? Thanks in advance, Frank

Goeden Avend Hans, I'm not "Frank", but another Virtual Radar enthusiast (that you might remember as we've been "talking" to each other before, and whose name is Karl) was going to ask you the same question since days already, but always forgot to do so. I'm also pretty much interested in a "close up" of EHAM", asking myself, if you are able to monitor EHAMs departures and arrivals due to the airport almost beeing in your "vicinity" (!?)

Would highly appreciate to see a screenhot from the airport, that my wife and me departed some 44 years ago, spending nearly one year at Montreal / Canada, receiving there technical training on flightsimulation for the F104- Starfighter. Suppose, I told about that already.
Hope you enjoy RadarBox, Hans

Regards

Karl

Hallo Karl, Guten abend!

Hello neighbour Hans,
wish I was able to communicate in YOUR language as You do in MINE. GREAT !!!

Good to have You back in the community of "Radar Viewers" (no matter if it is the "RadarBoxers" or the "SBS-1ers") after Your Greece holidays , that You're mentioning above.
Thanks for the EHAM sreenshot too. Enjoyed it very much for reasons I have been talking before.

Hans, You MUST, I say again You MUST have the external antenna installed, as soon as possible. It will open the "new world", that You mentioned Yourself. I decided WIMOS's GP 1090 to be my "favourite". It is operating since the beginning of this year, and I am very happy with it. Try to get it up "as high as possible" and "as freelooking" as possible. Then You'll see what happens!

I'm looking forward for at least one other screenshot after the antenna is up.
If You want some of mine, we have to proceed via e-mail attachment, AirNav does'nt  like SBS-1 screenshots in it's forum, which I can understand.

Have a good day Hans, and we will hear from each other most hopefully.

Karl

Guten Tag Nachbar Karl,

I have ordered the antenna and cable yesterday evening at WiMo Antennen und Elektronik GmbH, Herxheim - Deutschland.

I hope to install the outside antenna verry soon now and will keep you informed.
