I like Verdana Ref - it's designed for screen use, and I find it very easy to read.

THe normal Verdana will do fine..

Everyone has their own preferences - and there may be some new fonts with Vista that I don't know about.

Hi guys,

What is the name of the default font of the Radar box? I am trying to look for it but I can't seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Verdana 10

I think Verdana and Tahoma are the more readable fonts

Can anyone identify this ?

The reason I am asking is I couldn't get my hands on ANRB and I got the competitive. I am not happy nor pleased at all so I am trying to make it look like ANRB till I get one soon hopefully. A question, is it possible not to have the gear but to use the network feature by buying the subscription or I MUST have the actual thing?

Regards,
M

Mo,

You can have access to the RadarBox Network data by purchasing another AirNav Systems product - AirNav Live Flight Tracker - but whilst it's a good product, it just doesn't give you the flexibility that RadarBox does.  The interface is different, aimed at a different user, and access to the data is based on a monthly subscription right from the start.  Effectively, the software is free, but it's the subscription that costs.  Also, you buy a certain number of hours, so if you leave it running, you will run out of time before the end of the month.  There is an unlimited time subscription, but this is reasonably expensive.

In all honesty, you would be better biting the bullet and going for a RadarBox where you get the first 12 months of network data for free.

I'm sure you can do the maths and work out what is best.

If you were mislead in any way when you purchased your SBS-1 and it wasn't too long ago, you could try returning it as "not fit for purpose".

Anyway, welcome to the forum.  We're a happy bunch here, so ask any questions you may have.

OK, all noted.

I use Terminal Font size 8 which I think is the default - but I have made loads of changes, so I might be wrong.

To me that looks like Courier or Courier New. It's certainly a fixed-pitch font like ths one thet you get in teletype mode, which helps columns line up.
