Title: Email support?
Post by: oceans777 on November 27, 2008, 08:50:41 PM
I have sent several email to [email protected] over the past weeks and have not received any replies. I've checked my Spam folder to be sure they did not go there.

My RB2009 is acting more and more flaky and behaves like there is a short in the box somewhere. If I touch the box or barely move it, the number of flights I am picking up drops dramatically or goes to zero. The green light stays steady, blue flashing, white goes out completely. I can usually restore flights by touching it again or slightly adjusting the coax SMA connector, and suddenly my messages are back up to 200+ and I see traffic on screen.

There have been no changes in the hardware or antenna, coax cables have all been tested and changed. The Elad preamp and Bias-T voltages are correct and consistent. I've tried over six different coax cables (LMR240, LMR400, RG58A/U for the 3 foot jumper from the bias-t to the Radar Box and the problems still continue. Each cable tests good and works fine with other receivers, each has correct continuity.

The SMA jack on the RB is not loose at all and I can see no breaks or loose connections in the soldering, same for the mini-USB port. Also tried it on two other computers, same problem.

Please let me know how to reach the correct support email address?

You can also send an email but sometimes it might get caught by our spam checker that way if you have attached loads of files or if you system thinks it looks like spam.
