Title: Mode A/C
Post by: Gerser on August 06, 2007, 05:36:24 PM
is it possible (or is it potentially available with software modification) for the unit to receive/decode standard mode A/C interrogation replies so as to show a target with the mode-A code and reported altitude? (and subsequently perform some method of software filtering if one wanted to remove dozens of mode-A 7000's on the screen at any given time). This would be useful even for mode-S equipped aircraft since mode-S transponders still have modeA/C capability, and it is unlikely that the use of discreet mode-A codes will be discontinued in the forseeable future.

Unfortunately it is not possible to get those details using the RadarBox.
