Title: MyLog - Flights for Selected Aircraft?
Post by: GlynH on August 03, 2008, 10:05:40 AM
Hi there,

I have a question concerning the 'Flights for Selected Aircraft' in MyLog.

I have noticed an extraordinary amount of flights showing for some aircraft that cannot be correct - unless I misunderstand the function of the feature.

For example if I open MyLog, select an aircraft from the Aircraft List in the top box it shows the number of flights that has been recorded for that particular aircraft in the bottom box?

Well as can be seen from the attached picture some of the aircraft have an excessive number of flights recorded - far more than could reasonably be expected - many showing 800+ flights.

That can't be right...can it?

Thanks & regards,

If there's a gap in your reception of an aircraft, then each period of reception will be shown as a separate flight (eg BMI3573 on 27/7).

There's also a long-standing bug with how the MsgCount is counted for each period of reception.  Reported this bug during v1.4 beta testing back on 27 Feb, with this example - http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2867/ppdy2.jpg
