Title: EGCN
Post by: DaveUK on July 04, 2008, 06:32:16 PM
Hi - Newbie Here!

Got my Radarbox 2 days ago -all ok and tracking well.

I am close to EGCN (Robin Hood Airport) and I have managed to source an outline file for the field, and for a couple more local ones (Humberside, Newcastle).

My question is how do I amend the file to show the airport name and code on the map?  The Newcastle and Humberside ones are displaying correctly.  I looked in .out files and the Doncaster name appears in the file, but does not display.

Am I missing something?

Any help gratefully received.  Thanks in advance!

Dave

Hi Dave, and welcome to the forum!

You can get outline files for almost all UK airports and many others, and coastlines, from the www.airnavutilities.co.uk/ (http://www.airnavutilities.co.uk) website.

The ability to display the runway centrelines, extended centrelines, and airport codes and names is retained by AirNav themselves - we users can't do anything about them. Perhaps they'll be doing an update to the maps sometime soon - then again, perhaps not!

Enjoy!

Rod
