Hello
I use to have the old AirNav box.
I have now bought the RadarBox Flightstick 1090
I downloaded the software but I get the yellow display in the bottom right hand corner that says hardware not connected.
Please is there any specific software for the FlightStick?
Where can I get it from?
If not where are the drivers to help me overcome this problem?
Thank you

I am presuming you have not downloaded and installed the Flightstck drivers, you can get them here http://www.airnavsystems.com/Download/ANRB/Drivers/microRadarbox-Drivers-20150411.exe

no as there was no mention of this in any documentation or on the website. Ill try.
Thank you

It still refuses to connect

I got it off the website Charlie. Its different then the usual driver installation, give it time to let it finish the installation. The DOS Command Box shows things happening and after a couple of minutes you should be told to close down and restart the computer to finish the process

still nothing

Did you get advised by Windows to close down and restart the computer per my change made to my last reply
Where did you install the V6 software to on your computer?
Alan

Turned computer off and on again.
Still not connected
The V software is installed on my hard drive
Looked in device manner and there is nothing displaying there

Charlie
Yes it will be on your hard drive but where did you install to program files or the recommended c:\Airnav
When you loaded in the software did you let it tell you to close down and restart
When its plugged into a USB port, in control panel/devices and printers it should show in Unspecified as RTL2838UHDIR and it should show whether the drivers are installed or not
Alan
-
Yes it comes up as RTL2838UHIDIR
I click on it and it comes up as device working properly
-
Try taking it out and plugging it back in again

still nothing

I have done all I can Charlie, can think of nothing else to try. It should be load the software, load the drivers, plug in the stick and away you go
You still didn't state where you installed the software too i.e program files or the correct c:\Airnav or similar. Did you also let the installation tell you to restart the computer?
Suggest you ask support

I use driver zadig (https://zadig.akeo.ie (https://zadig.akeo.ie))on Windows with AirNavSystem software. It works perfectly with:
- Radarbox FlightStick (green)
- Generic DVB-T (black/blue)
- Flightaware ProStick (orange)
- Flightaware ProStick Plus (blue)
