I haven't counter but, I only see a few handfuls of plane pictures displayed. Most say ""photo not Available". Is there any way to download or retrieve plane pics for all planes I am detecting?
Thanks
-
I presume that you have got the download set up in File/Preferences/Radarbox/Photo and Aircraft Auto-Populate with the boxes ticked as appropriate to your needs

Yes....it is set up correctly.....

Click on the line of the aircraft concerned or on the aircraft and it should download the photo if it is in the database and assuming you have the software set to share data
Can take some seconds and goes to Photo not available and then a few seconds later shows the photo if available

Thanks...I did click on the photo area but no luck on getting the pic. However, I did look around and went into Database Explorer, from FILE menu, clicked on UPDATES and manually updated the DB. Let me see if that helps???? I left the radio button on UPDATE ALL RECORDS instead of DO NOT UPDATE MANUAL RECORDS.
-
The database updates does nothing for photos and I would always update using UPDATE ALL RECORDS
I don't normally have photos showing as it takes up grid space but just tried for photos and can confirm they are downloading OK on MyFlights and on Network flights, taking up to 20 seconds to download from the server

As a matter of interest, following your database update how many rows are you showing on the aircraft table. I have 458,970 and you should have around the same figure
Alan

wow....mine is 2,569 rows
-
You sure that is the aircraft table and not the actype table??? Mines has 2700 or so on it
Alan

AHHHH....acypt table. The aircraft table says 237,661 rows. Should I do something to update that to get to your number??
-
Tnx for your help. I re-updated the DB and it now shows about the same rows as you. I am seeing lots more planes now as I scroll
-
Ah great, I was going to advise that you may have more than one instance of the software installed but as you now have the same all is well
