Title: Unusual routings

Just had these 2 come over Alicante in quick succession. Never had them route this way before. Anyone know if there is a problem with African airspace :

EK751 : Dubai-Casablanca
MSR847 : Cairo- Casablanca

Both a welcome sight !

Something strange going on !

Approaching Alicante now is ETD612 from Casablanca to Abu Dhabi.

RAM277 Beirut-Casablanca heading to the LEAL overhead at this time.  Can only think it is the enroute weather forcing them a bit further north than normal.

If it is weather related, pity it is doesn't happen more often. Makes a welcome change from the usual stuff.
