The network registered over 4000 aircraft this afternoon.

Not sure how accurate network flight stats are. I tend to see them as a judge of how busy it is, but today for example watching stats in the 1300 to 1500 range then 2400, 3000+, 3000, hovered in the low 2000's for about 5 mins then back to 1300. I know people log on and off but such spikes don't seem to be possible to me. Also looking at the map panned out was expecting to see new areas on-line for such high figures, eatern China was on and India showing good returns, however when the stats fell these areas were still showing.
I also never seem to get network stats quite as high as as the network stats bar chart shows - usually running at between 1300 and 1900 for most of the day - not reaching these regular numbers of over 2000
Anyone shed some light on this?

It depends on your timeouts settings, the network stats on the website uses a one minute time out.

cheers for the quick reply airnav - Apologies if I have got this the wrong way around but my network timeout is set for 90 secs so wouldn't this mean I get more not less flights?
-
Apologies we got that wrong. Its 2 minute timeout :)

Whatever it was it is now back to normal.

Hi Support,
We definitely have some problems with the network now. Look at the pictures below (it's glidepaths of UUEE and UUDD). My software is configured for normal timeouts for the network flights (60/90) but I see these pictures for a much longer period of time (for more thаn 10 min at least).
Could you please check this issue for us, I believe we had this story in the past. By the way, RB24 is not affected with this problem.

Yes, it's back again, RB Network seeing between 4000 and 5000 aircraft at a time. I don't believe it.

We are taking a look. Apologies.

still showing 5000 flights today. Similar problems over in China with piles of timeout images staying on screen
Another thing I have spotted is that a large number of planes don't seem to be downlaoding photo's again - is this also an issue going back to the server problem? Sorry if this has been reported elsewhere.
