Lufthansa´s first scheduled A380 flight is finally in the air after a slight delay at Frankfurt. I watch it over the network and D-AIMA seems to be still over Germany at FL330. If anybody still doesn´t know, then the flight is DLH710 EDDF-RJAA.

Just turned toward Sweden.

Great! I am in Tokyo.. it will arrive in the morning - will be great to see it on the Radarbox
-
Looks like it did a 2000-ft step-climb to FL350. It may even pass over me.
-
Why is it flying so northerly route? One day I saw a B747 flying the EDDF-RJAA route and it passed south of me, but now it´s flying so north that I have no change of picking it up.
-
Now it´s probably far somewhere over Russia.

Just switched on the VM.. and there she is! So too is the Singapore A380 .. hope you can see it if ppl are up that late!

D-AIMA has just returned back to EDDF from its first scheduled flight to RJAA. Used Flight ID: DLH711
First Track: 52° 11.0N 13° 10.4E @FL380 (20nm SE of Berlin)
Last Track: 51° 1.8N 10° 55.0E @FL210 (5nm NW of Erfurt)

Why don't I see D-AIMA (3C65A1)? When it was at the ILA, my box didn't see it.
Anybody who has a solution for this?

The PC/Notebook/Netbook, the RB Software was running on, had an internet connection? And: do you have tracked D-AIMA before? If not there is a good chance, that she isn't in your Navdata Database jet. And without an Internet connection it is impossible for the RB software to lookup the new received ICAO address of D-AIMA and fill in the missing information.
But you can manually fill the Database:
Use File -> Database Explorer
At "Select Table" go to Aircraft.
Tick "Add Record"
Fill in:
MS: 3C65A1
AR: D-AIMA
AT: A388
AN: Airbus A380-841
AC: Lufthansa
CN: 038
With a working Internet connection it should be enough, if you add the first two on the list. The rest will be filled automatically, if "Auto populate Aircraft Data" is ticked "ON" in the "Preferences" Menu.
