Post by: orkney on December 11, 2009, 09:38:26 AM
hello all

could you please confirm that when we install this update the log, home location, polar diagram, photos and any other data will be automatically kept when the software is updated.
if not  could you please tell us how to keep them. thanks

If you just download the anrb.exe and overwrite the current one your other files will not be altered. If you download the complete thing it will overwrite your records.

hello

sorry, but that update option is only available for any v3 beta not v2.

these are the three options:

Full Download:
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/313/ANRB313Setup.exe

Manual update for users with any V3.xx beta version (2 Mb):
(Download and copy the file below to your "AirNav RadarBox" folder overwriting the existing file)
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/313/ANRB.exe

Upgrade from V2.xx:
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/313/ANRBUpgrade2XXto3XX.exe

my question applies   to  the third option

thanks

I think the upgrade keeps all of your previous settings intact, certainly the Home Location.

Upgrade from V2.xx:
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/313/ANRBUpgrade2XXto3XX.exe

I used this last night and I didn't lose a thing.  All my settings, colours, layout etc were still as they were before the upgrade.

Hi, Thanks for replies. Might risk it soon.

I've just updated and all seems well. Phew!
