Hi Folks, Anyone got any info on Mode S 7281F8 we keep getting on our box. Airframes tells us it is from Iraq. It goes between 400ft and 27000 ft and been around a few days now. Thanks for your input in advance! Claire

From another forum:
Four Texan II's passed thru Pearson Airport in Toronto, departing this morning to Canadian Forces Base Bagotville in Quebec, and have filed for Goose Bay en route to Israel via Europe.
Aircraft are HKB122, HKB178, HKB181, and HKB280 these are the flight numbers they have filed. Aircraft are Texan II's on delivery to Israeli Air Force Flight Academy, in red and white colour scheme.
Israel or Iraq?

Thanks Guys for your replies. Right enough on a deeper check we have had 4 different mode s planes of these type. I think they must have passed through Wick for fuel as this is the only airport we get at that low altitude. I'm kindo new to this forum lark so I might hassle you again sometime. Claire

Welcome to the group. For Mode S tie-up questions you are better off joining the Yahoo group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Mode_S/ This has contributors who have access to worldwide flightplan info to get quick tie-ups. They also run a parser service if you upload your logs. This will show you if you have any incorrect information in your own Navdata, which you can then correct manually.

Iraqi - hence the Iraqi hex codes :-)
If it's any consolation, the original report that they were Israeli has now popped up on several other forums !
