Hi,
I am sure it me doing something wrong again... but every time I restart RB it seems to revert to the 'default' settings for colours and trails on.
I am going FILE>PREFS>MAP Colours and OKing and Applying, but each time I restart the colours have reset.
Same with trails, it seems to be ON every time I restart.

MAP - SAVE MAP AS and name it Default.ml3

As ever,,, thank you.
Been a RB user for just over 24 hours now... and very pleased that I have made the switch from SBS
Now if somebody could just iron out the bug with trails on, trails off - I would be home and dry.
The SBS box is now sitting awaiting its new home (dont want to leave it too long - scared the buyer will discover RB and change his mind!)

Ummmm, not actually working this!
Still reverting back to the original default colours (red for climbing is my problem!! - too long of seeing red as a timeout plot)
Not a major issue, but would be nice to resolve

9M-ISJ, save your colour scheme in the Preference dialog box, on the Map Colours tab. It should remember the colour settings then.

Thanks Tarbat,
That has worked for the colours.... it still defaults to TRAILS ON at each restart.

Having the same problem here with the new Military Operating Area outlines. I change them to red (Type 25), save Map as Default.ml3 and also Export my color profile. When RB re-launches they go back to gray.

I am also having the same issue with the default to trails on each time I start the program.

Hi guys it's a bit confusing & I had the same problem. The way I do it (I'm sure there are other better ways) is to go to preferences in the file menu & the map colours. Change the colours to your preferences and then click on Export. Type the file name of your choice & save. Then once your RB has fired up go to the Map Colours icon just below help and click on the drop down, your new file should be in there & then just click on it.
I discovered this myself after many attempts. If anyone know an easier way then let me know ;)
