Title: Is this caused by Radarbox?
Post by: Southwest on March 07, 2010, 11:20:19 AM
I am running XP OS and version 3.13.

When I first log in everything is fine, up to 40 in My Flights and over 1000 in Network flights.  All goes well for a while then all of a sudden all of my network flights disappear.  The PC is showing that the Wireless Network Connection is fine and running ok and if I try to log into anything at all on the internet, I can't as it won't fire up.

The reason I ask if this is Radarbox connected is because the internet works fine until I connect to Radarbox, where it goes for anything from 2 minutes to 10 minutes before losing connection.

Is this a know RB problem?

Thanks

Hi

I have noticed since v3.13, if I have RB running and go into "Internet Options" to change something, when I click apply, RB close down straight away. This also happens when I turn the screen saver off/on while RB is running.

Don't know if this could be related to what you have got "Southwest"

At the moment, I'm doing a disc clean and defrag.  Will try again later.

Anyone from RB admin like to comment?

Can't reproduce both, using XP and Firefox (you use IE?).

Southwest,

Thats not caused by RadarBox, RB will just be using your connection it won't cause it drop out. Have you tried an ethernet connection and checked whether thats more reliable?

abrad41 - We can't reproduce your issue either.

I'm also using Firefox.

Disc clean and defrag complete.  It's something to do with RB as I've run just about everything else and the internet connection doesn't 'drop' whilst using them.  It's only when I open up RB that this happens.

Will remove software and start again to see if this clears it up.

It was the RB software.  I deleted everything and reinstalled software and (touch wood) all is well.  Before anyone asks, there have been no additions, deletions or modifications to the PC since way before Christmas.

It had to happen on one the best days weather over a weekend for yonks!
