Thank you Tommy, Chris and Alan, I was looking for a Map View button under the "Map" heading, I hadn't even looked at the rest of the toolbar, I'm now up and running, just need to update the db.    Sorry Alan, there's been so many replies on this topic, I hadn't read each one individually.

neroon79, thanks.  Might be SSL related.  Anyway, this is logged as a bug (FS#242), so will be looked at.  In the meantime, continue to use the Airnav server for sending emails.

Ingo,

I note on your email settings the under smtp.mail.yahoo.com  you have a dot before mail.  Is that a typo as I  dont think it should be there.

Well, I thought I was up and running, obviously detecting some a/c, but nothing being displayed on the map, although reception lines expanding!   Can't even see if I've got network working or not........
I'm giving up for tonight, and watching the box instead - enough frustration!

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately nor, as its an new install you will need to start again, fortunately it doesnt take long to set up the screen the way you want it.

"My Log" and/or "Reporter" window and sub-windows do not remember size and position between ANRB.exe program sessions.

PS. Note that they never did it, but maybe they should.

smtp.mail.yahoo.com is correct, as it is copied from Yahoo website and working with my mail program(s).

Hi Ingo,

Just wondered as my ISP doesnt have the smtp or the dot just mail.btinternet.com so thought it was worthwhile trying without it.

I tried all ports and ssl non ssl combinations, as far as it was possible or supported by my mail providers. Maybe I look for another freemail provider that is allowing ssl free comunication to figure out if the problem is indeed ssl related.

neroon79, I've now confirmed this is an SSL problem.  I re-configured my email account to use SSL, and whilst I can send okay with SSL from Outlook, sending with SSL from Radarbox fails.  So, an SSL problem.

Hi Guys;
I would just like to mention that, being a computer thicky, I updated the program an hour ago and apart from being surprised upon launching the program and seeing Google Earth instead of a map, within seconds I saw the toolbar with map view and was delighted to find pretty much everything working the way I like it as in the previous version! I have one minor question though, I read in this thread that I could manually input my own photos when they are missing, especially when I am sat in Lagos not many of the local carriers pop up with recent pics. How do I manually insert a pic? I assume that by inserting a pic, it would be for my system only? It would be nice to have them uploaded to the network but I assume that wouldn't happen? Hope you don't mind me asking here.
kind regards clive.
