Good morning, I have Radar Box for over 4 years and my computer had windows 7 now will install to my PC Winows 10 and I could not make my Radar Box 24 work, I feel really depressed, I think I've lost my money . .
-
What version of Windows 10 are you using? if its not a new 10.1 install you should be able to use the Windows 10 instructions to install the drivers.
Regarding 10.1 the drivers are going through verification.
-
I Have Windows 10. . . where is the link to download the drivers for Windows 10? please, thanks.
Jose.

They are with Microsoft for certification as per the last reply

I have windows 10 and for me Radarbox is working.
I have click with the right bottom, in propriety I have mark to run in compatibility with windows 7 and my RB work 100%.
-
cttrondonia: There several people here running RB under WIN10 everything was OK until the aniversary update roll-out began:
Do you have bought a Win10 pre-installed Computer or have you installed Win10 directly (not an update of an existing Win7 or Win8 installation)? If yes: Wait until you get the aniversary update to WIN10.1. After that the drivers for classic Radarbox won't load anymore. At least as long as microsoft needs to sign the drivers which have been sent to them for certification.
Dirty, risky and temporary solution to possibly avoid aniversary update is here: http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=8714.15
For me it is not necessary to run Radarbox Software in WIN7 compatibility mode. As I did run them in WIN7 mode I had problems with longtime running of the software. Running software without compatibility setting solved the problems.

Following a recent update to Windows 10 Pro version 1607 and the Radarbox driver is no longer recognised and Windows will not report the driver version via device manager.
When will Radarbox deliver the certified driver?

Hi Phil
We've been told that signed Windows 10 drivers should be arriving this week - we'll see...
-
Phil,
See reply #32 in the thread titled 'PC Windows 10 driver does not work' started May 16th. Apparently that fix works.

I have tried for months to get ANRB to work with windows 10, nothing I have tried works at all. So I would be waiting to see this driver update with baited breath. I have recently purchased the Micro radarBox and it works fine.

Ian, Rod,
Thanks for the pointer - that appears to have resolved the issue.

Cheers Phil.
Glad to be of help.

Hi - after posting on here that the win 10 update screwed the drivers up etc, Airnav have now removed my elite membership for not uploading - JOY
Anyway whilst waiting I got the on to using a tv dongle and uploading elsewhere with better results, we had problems setting it up on this server as the radarbox used the same datalinks so took it out whilst testing, the tv dongle worked.
BUT i then ran the airnav software and it picked up the tv dongle and worked as it should, also said i had the Micro Radarbox plugged in!!!
The tv dongle is now on a Pi iploading elsewhere £25 dongle your away. radarbox sat here doing nothing till airnav sort things out they did send me a job number from my return email.

Hi Siddy,
If you have not had a reply from Airnav pass me the number and I will get onto them to reply to you

Hi, All
Just had the dreaded Windows 10.1 downloaded and as per various comments, AN is no longer working. Tried the fix from Judwin on which I commented in reply #8 above and can't get it too work. Therefore, until AN get the Windows 10 drivers signed off, there will be no further coverage from this area. Apologies for that. I did have AN working perfectly on Windows 10 so why an update to 10.1 is causing it not too work I don't know. Does this mean if Microsoft do future updates to 10.2, 10.3, etc the same problem is going to occur ?

I will contact you to come up and try and fix Ian. 10.1 requires signed drivers, previous versions didn't. Further updates should not cause any additional problems but depending on what Microsoft do there cannot be any promises on that.

Hi Alan done the fixes we did before but wont work this time, the log they sent me was 1437 on the email link
-
Siddy
I take it 1437 is the auto reply ticket number. When was it you emailed them, however I don't think even they will be able to help until the signed drivers become available.

Yea I gathered that but it p!$$ed off saying dropping by membership for there error, remembering how much we paid for the rb and paying for network each month the feathers came up lol.
-
If you want I will be able to get you back on Elite
Alan
-
Yes if you can as I use it at work as the web site isn't block (yet lol)
-
I have emailed Airnav

Hi guys,
Quick question.
Does anyone know if AN works on the Apple operating system. I've had enough of Microsoft downloading updates which I haven't even asked for and then having to wait God knows how long to get drivers signed off in order to get programs working again.
Ian
-
Ian,
It works on Apple IOS but needs Windows emulation so you would be no better off as it would still need the Windows drivers.
Don't worry though as I will get you online no problem on Tuesday and Windows 10 will no longer impact on you.

Cheers Alan.
I'd better retrieve the box from the skip !

Did I miss the discussion somewhere or has Airnav obtained the 10.1 signed drivers from Microsoft yet? If so, where are they?
Jason

No Jason

Hi All
I had the same problem but overcame it by unplugging my box and then starting AirNav.
It then went through the start process to the end when it showed 2 red boxes against process hardware flights and network. I then plugged in the Radar Box and low and behold everything worked OK
When closing down for the night I have to unplug the box otherwise it hangs.
I should add that I am using the windows 8 drivers and do not have network connectivity.
Hope this helps

Has there been any update on the certified drivers as my RB has been idle for months now and I would like to get it working again!
Cheers

Col,
A new digital signing certificate was purchased from Microsoft but when it arrived a couple of weeks ago it was incorrectly signed and had to be returned and replaced. The replacement certificate arrived with Airnav on Friday so expect good news very soon
