Hi,
I can see someone is connected form Ibiza in Spain. Great news to see some coverage in Spain. We are about to receive our First RB that we will be connecting 24/7 from LEPA Majorca. We have decided on 3 locations and we will be testing these locations until we see which one can give us the best coverage.

Good luck with it Pepito. Be interesting to see what you pick up.
Would be interesting if you could find a good spot at the top of the mountains along Ma-10 :)

Great news Pepito.
Excellent.
Good work.
Regards.

Pepito: do have any intentions of having RBs sharing from Madrid, Barcelona and somewhere in northern Spain? I you have then we will have all the european continent covered!
-
Hi,
Yes we have the intention in placing various antennas around Spain if the testing of the first RB (on the way in the post) is satisfactory.
Our Probable locations are going to be:
LEPA, LEVC, LEMD, LESA OR LEVD, LEAS, LEZL, LEZG, LEBL, LEAM.
(full covarage will take a year or so). We want tracking available as close to the ground as possible for most of Spains airports.
We will have to look for possible locations in Canary Islands.
Regarding coverage we see that there is an important site that we should try to cover ASAP. This is the NTS VOR. That area is very important area rarely covered on the network.
French guys any chance you can convince a friend to have their RB on in that area?
As we are not very sure what is going to happen with the network we want to guaranty our own coverage. Interesting to see what the numbers are going to be with the new network fee.

You don't need to pay the network fee to share data so we don't think there will be much of an effect there.

Sorry, Nantes is too far north for me. Not sure if there are any users in northern France.

Hi all,
I´m new with RB, I came from a SBS-1 and now broadcasting from Alicante. There are so much more difference with my old SBS that now I´m practically pasted to my screen. At the moment I´m living in a flat, but plans for moving to a higher position soon, so the coverage will be better.
Best Regards from Spain.
