Hi sorry if this has already been discussed on the forum, but I was wondering why it is that most commuter flights and all mil flights do not show on the map when they appear in the myflights lists?
I can probably understand that mil flights don't show up for security reasons, but why not aircraft like the CRJ and EMB types?
Rgds and thanks in advance, Dave

Mil flights probably are equipped, they just don't transmit position data for obvious reasons

Well there's an element of truth in that - many military aircraft are equipped with what's referred to as "ADS-B-out" or "1090 Extended Squitter" - they send some of the packet types, such as callsign and sometime airborne velocity, just not the position details.
