Preference screen problems with Vista
« on: September 01, 2009, 07:50:37 PM »
When I bring up "Preferences Screen" the bottom portion of this screen is missing, so I am unable to get at the "apply" button.
Suggestions have included decreasing font in display settings.
No problem on my desktop running XP, only on laptop running Vista.
Program does not seem to run as well on Vista, many hesitations.
Has anybody else had the same problem ?

RadarBox runs fine under vista, just make sure you don't let in install in where Vista says so.

Also Preferences, make sure your not using large fonts and increase your resolution. This is fixed in the beta and the full version of version 3 will be out soon.

As an aside to this I have been running RB for a year and a half now and always on Vista. I have always accepted the installation of the original and various updates to the default location and had no problems at all with fonts or functionality.

I have been tempted to install the software to a non virtual store location in the light of numerous comments on here about problems with Vista but have not done as I can't see what the problem with Vista is.

If I did change my mind and re-locate the .exe would I also have to re-install drivers ?
