Reg = MAB should be A7-MAB

Reg = MAA 08-020 should be A7-MAA

Given that these are military aircraft, I have seen no evidence anywhere that they use the A7- prefix.  It's certainly not worn on anywhere on either aircraft.

Andrew,

For the reasons Dave states we will be staying with the details of MAA and MAB.  As for the BC-A, they are shown as a C17 on the database.  Something happens from the database to your screen which changes it.  Airnav should be looking at this in the meantime make the change manually in database explorer and this will stop in re-occuring.

As for the BC-A, they are shown as a C17 on the database.  Something happens from the database to your screen which changes it.

AFAIK, there is still no mechanism that propagates changes to the AT (ICAO designator) field from the server to users' databases.

Until that's in place and/or AirNav ship an updated NavData.db3, ICAO codes that are wrong in your local database (including the dreaded three dots) will stay wrong unless you manually edit them, regardless of whether they are correct (as in this case) in the server database.

"in the meantime make the change manually in database explorer and this will stop it re-occuring."  For the particular aircraft amended only.
