Can you amend AE2FAB please?

Populates as 08-8219 McDonnell Douglas C17A Globemaster III P-199 whereas it should read 08-8199 Boeing C17A Globemaster III c/n P-199.

Its live now and can't be overwritten.

Thanks,

John H.

There is a typo on the details for 44D031. Registration has been entered as 00-TAQ insted of OO-TAQ. (00 - numbers, OO - letters). Unable to overwrite.

Thanks,

John H.

It's a WC-135C,  converted from an EC-135C, which in turn was converted from a KC-135B.

ADU have it as a WC-135W.
Airframes remarks say:
redesignated EC-135C 01.01.65, reskinn 02.84, 7thACCS, wfu to AMARC 02.99 CA0128, 45th RES 03.99 for few years extra service, mod to WC-135W s10.04, 55WG

ADU has got it wrong.

A WC-135W is a modified WC-135B, which in turn is converted from a C-135B (i.e. a Stratolifter rather than Stratotanker), which is why you won't see photos of the WC-135W with a refuelling boom as it's never had tanker capability.

The WC-135C, on the other hand, was originally a KC-135B and even after conversion to an EC-135C and then to a WC-135C, 62-3582 retains its boom.

Here's one of many photos of it on the Net:

Interesting debate, 62-3852 now on as a WC130C.  There are 2 photographs from Airplanes on as well.

The Extender added

Afraid your joke is beyond me John as N952CA wasnt on the database until I added it  I take it came up as something rather smaller?.

Thanks to all.

Yes - until AirNav start to ship the updated database, anyone using the internal NavData.db3 will see N952CA as a CRJ1 (deregistered in 2008).

Unless they manually update the data now that the information is available.  If you need assistance drop me a line.
