Apologies - got that info from another user in SA and found out he had disabled Autopopulate.

By the way - I have a list of all the allocated codes for ZS aircraft if anyone would like it

Hi Chris

Always eager to obtain this sort of stuff as a resource to plough through - any chance you could pm me with it?

Cheers

Rich

List sent via email.

A question for the Updaters. We have, in South Africa a group of Rboxers that compare notes to identify the aircraft that come up blank by matching with radio calls, getting information from ATC's etc. I am the only one in the group that has Autopopulate turned on so the aircraft that come up blank for them might be in the database. Is there any way I can check if these aircraft are in the database manually before reporting them?

Hi Chris,

The only way Chris I can think of is by checking your Database via database explorer, there is no way for you to check the main Airnav database.  If you picked up the same airframe as the others and theirs is blank you may have it populated in your DB.

hello

You can check if the aircraft is populating by using this link:

http://www.airnavsystems.com/cgi-bin/ANLV_SV/ANLV_SV_user.exe?usgetphoto=0&usverify_name=PGANRB111111&usversion=ANRB301&modes=XXXXXX

And change the XXXXXX to the hex code you want to check.

for example 86CF72 returns this data in a csv format

OK;http://www.airnavsystems.com/cgi-bin/ANLV_SV/Photo/JA8090.jpg;26347/907;Boeing 747-446/D;Japan Airlines - JAL;Rui Miguel;http://www.airliners.net/photo/Japan-Airlines--/Boeing-747-446D/1719050/L/;JA8090;OK;http://www.airnavsystems.com/cgi-bin/ANLV_SV/Photo/JA8090,2.jpg;26347/907;Boeing 747-446/D;Japan Airlines - JAL;Tokyo Spotter;http://www.airliners.net/photo/Japan-Airlines--/Boeing-747-446D/1712316/L;JA8090

but a hex not in the db returns a blank page.

Thanks Chris 5N-BCP updated.  Unfortunately 5N-PTL is still displaying the code of its previous identity N850CA.

Many thanks Alan
