Hi Yang
Unfortunately both aircraft are using the same code, see below a message on mode-s forum posted on the delivery of RP-C9935
A21N MSN 8568 was delivered yesterday as PAL5005 XFW-AUH-MNL
Its using hex 75855D which is already in use by Dash 8 RP-C5909 delivered in
June
Also further message posted 27th November
Hallo all, looks like this miscode may be with us for a while as the A321 operated PR539/540 MNL-CGK on 27th Nov (bit far for a DH8D) and FR24 is showing these flights as operated DH8D by RPC5909 on FR24 flight history.
At the same time RPC5909 was also doing local flights in the Phillipines, so unfortunately it seems they are both using 75855D.
So much for hoping it was just an error on delivery. Ah well back to the old school way of recognizing the difference between a DH8D and a A321 then. Think I just about have it in me.
The DH8D uses a GAP flight ID and the A21N a PAL flight ID. I presume the A21N is the miscode as the DH8D was delivered a few months previous
