Hi Alan,
I've been looking at some of the codes listed with late AE61xx into early AE62xx
At present they are a mix of USAF C-130J and US Army H-60M.
This is what I have at the moment:
AE61FA in as 18-20982, callsign 175877 so should be AC-130J 17-5877
AE61FB in as 18-20983, callsign Hydra11 around Eglin AFB, FL
AE61FC 18-5879 callsign king so looks correct
AE61FE 18-5882 looks correct based on altitudes etc
AE6201 18-5886 looks correct based on altitudes etc
AE6204 in as 18-20992, callsigns king and 175892 and seen as a C-130 so should be HC-130J 17-5892
AE6205 in as 18-20993, callsigns RCH and E55893 and seen as a C-130 so should be C-130J 15-5893
AE6206 in as 18-20994, callsigns King and 165895 and seen as a C-130 so should be HC-130J 16-5895
AE6215 was only picked up fleetingly, but at altitudes more likely to be a C-130 than H-60
Of course there are quite a few I haven't picked up in between in that range, but I suspect they all tie in together as a block of C-130s. How sure are the H-60s in that range?
To me either the H-60s are incorrect, or the block has been allocated to both the USAF and US Army?
Mike
