Just passed over Glasgow today at 35,000ft heading South-East with a modeS code of 02008D. No information on Airframes or GAS websites. Long trail clearly visible. Any ideas ?

Cheers,

Ian

Ian,

I've been piecing together some info on this ac. PlanePlotter has it as a B350. This type refers to both a Beech King Air and Falcon 50 in my past logs. I've had it at 35,000ft so it's more likely to be a Falcon 50. 02008D is alloted to Morocco and the Morrocan Air Force has one Falcon 50 for VIP duties. So...

Tom,

Thanks for that. Certainly, it's the first time I've spotted this one. As I say he was showing ModeS details but nothing in the way of ADSB.

Cheers,

Ian

On the day that photo was taken, CN-ANO was using 020046, so it may not be the one that was sighted today.

Dave,

Having checked back my records, I actually first spotted this aircraft at Heathrow on the 20/4/82 therefore, in a way, I hope it was a different aircraft that passed over today. I suppose I will just have to wait and see if anything turns up on GAS or airframes.

Cheers,

Ian

Just spotted this on network

Embraer 505 Phenom (nice to see an Embraer with ADS-B) hope they role it out across all models.

Do you by any chance have a hex code for it ?

An interesting one routed across London at 1am on the morning of Monday 23.  A857E6 CRJ2. The hex relates to N637BR an ex-independence air CRJ2. The FAA has this reg as cancelled to Yemen and skyliners.net says it is on a delivery flight KEF-MRS for Felix Airways as 7O-FAJ. Can anyone confirm that it is indeed now Yemen registered and therefore a miscode of its former US reg.
