hi there please thank you for any help in advance i have purchased a flightstick to feed into the system and i have a windows 10 computer can some help me with what software from here to use this and help to get it up and running kind regards paul
-
Hi
Welcome
Download and install the V6 software from https://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB60002Setup.exe
Please note install to C:\Airnav dont use a Program Files location
You wil also need to instal lthe drivers for the stick from here
http://www.airnavsystems.com/Download/ANRB/Drivers/microRadarbox-Drivers-20150411.exe
Give it time to install, wait til the DOS box disappears
Plug in the stick and start up the software and hopefully all will be well

hi alan thanks for that info can it seams to pause ever so often is there a way of stopping network flights i would just like to upload what i see on my end to the system and i pay for standard pack do you get an upgrade if i feed into the system thank you regards paul
-
Hi Paul
On the newtwork tab, bottom left untick Get Flights From Radarbox Network. It takes quite a bit to download 7/8000 flights every 20 seconds
If you feed into RB24 you upgrade to Business
Alan
-
thanks alan where do i get that option to feed sorry to be a pain
-
I believe you share automatically once you start feeding. Where are you located
Alan
-
yes im in n Ireland its just new to this and dont know where to put the setting in ect thank you
-
Go to File/Preferences/Radarbox and enter your lat/lon in decimal then press Apply and OK and hopefully I can find you
Alan
-
i have done that alan earlier on but it hasn't upgraded at all m8
-
It normally upgrades automatically a short time after you start feeding but I cannot see you. Are you seeing aircraft on your MyFlights tab
Alan
-
no alan nothing in tabs but all connected up and running can i ask is there a way to make sure im feeding into it
-
Paul
Bottom left Hardware connected is it green
Does your antenna have a clear view of the sky
Alan
-
i have network flights un cheaked and its red but the hardware connected micro/rb is green and working
-
yes outside on tower
-
OK the hardware connected being green is important and that is good, where in Ireland are you located
What type of antenna do you have and are your cable connections good
Alan
-
Ballycastle north Ireland and yes hardware is green to be fair no aircraft about at min but i was just wanting to be sure its working and to get upgraded alan
-
Yes looking at Ireland just now and nothing around so you cant send any data until you pick up some flights. Once you start sending regular data I should hopefully be able to see you and give you further advice
You will need to contact [email protected] but you will need your sharer number but I cany give you it until you appear on the system
Alan
-
there are flight right now showing on the system vjt178 active now
-
Paul
I believe you are picking up 2 aircraft at this time
Alan
-

Your sharer number is EXTSHA195464 https://www.radarbox.com/stations/EXTSHA195464 . Contact [email protected] advise them of the sharer number and your email address and ask them to link the receiver to your account.

Alan
-

-
Paul
I amended my previous reply, can you advise if you entered your location as detailed. Do not use Auto-Detect My location, enter exact lat/lon Apply and OK
Alan
-
i have entered the info log/lat but its nowhere like where im located
-
Put in your location lon/lat, did you use decimal
Alan
-
55.2049 lattatude lon -6.1877 thats what i have in alan
-
it shows' me miles away for my location of ballycastle
-
Blackpark Road
Alan
-
yes thats it alan
-
Are you zooming right in, the V6 map does not have many features for recognition
Alan
-
im zoomed in a bit but i am about 80miles of the location even with it zoomed out alan
-
That must put you a good bit south of Belfast or the like
Alan
-
im not near Belfast at all alan it shows' me near Cookstown and i im right up in the north Antrim coast
-
Am aware Paul, no idea but its not really to important
Alan
-
You are showing correctly on RB, check out https://www.radarbox.com/stations/EXTSHA195464
Are you now on Business
Alan
-
Great alan as long as it shows ok on the system will look forward to the upgrade
-
Have you checked your account to see if you are upgraded
Alan
-

-

-
