Hi,
I kindly ask for help for getting the blank file for Navdata.db3.I want completly new data from start of this year.I am using AirNav radarbox 6.00.000 version of program.Very satisfied with it but as I said I would like to have an actual yearly record not an obsolete record of last 10 years.Thank you in advance for a help and best wishes in the New Year to all of you.Andrej

The information on what you have seen is stored in your MyLog file not the Navdata
Go to MyLog/Tools/Grids and set the From Date and the To date or use Quick Set and choose Last Year
Use Tools/Export to CSV and save the resulting log

Hi,
I see if I set the From date and To date I would have only "new" registrations-aircraft in that period but not "all" registrations-aircraft listed that would flew over my territory.I remember that few years ago it was a blank file on this forum but can,t find it anymore.The database would be absolutely empty at a start...I need a blank table following file-database explorer-select table-aircraft .That is to be able to see "all" registrations-aircraft to fly-by this year only.

Setting the From and To dates will give you all flights picked up by your receiver between these dates, not just new registrations.
The Navdata tables are encrypted and cannot be amended

Thanks Terry, never knew that you could get a Navadata with no information on it whatsoever. Do you add all the data into the other tables or are you not concerned about the routes, aircraft type codes etc
I would however have thought that a blank NavData.db3, not having any data in it would be quite small

Hi,
I just did a clean installation of AirNav radarbox and then replace original navdata.db3 file with the one Terry kindly sent to me.There is not much difference when I did restarted the program - still the database is huge almost as original one (over 234000 aircraft).Mayba this file wasn,t OK - also it is strange to be 70MB big for an empty one.Have anyone some other idea or correct file?My installed version is now 6.02.003 on WinX.Thank you in advance.Andrej

One interested thing - when I did delete some ModeS records from the database the program remebers that when I run it again,but there was no time or date changed of the navdata.db3 . At least it should be changed because there was edited,right?Maybe it is version related file and I should try to install the right version (old) that you are using?

The change date/time is when the change is made on the server not on your file. As you didn't and cant change the server data the date will not change.
234,000 aircraft in the aircraft table would suggest to me that it is the file that comes with the V6 software and not a blank file and it looks to me like you didn't replace the original file

The both file were 70MB , then I replaced it even with my old navdata file which was smaller - but the rusult was that there were also over 234000 aircraft then on it although my database only have over 25000!Strange really.

Could it be to need empty mylog.db3 file ...

It would need renamed to NavData.db3 I would have thought to replace the original

Yes I did first saved my old file and then place the new one and renamed it.The hardest way is possible - to delete each mode-S entry manually - but it will take ages :)

Just for info todays update has 441,525 rows in the aircraft table

Yes,luckily I didnt update it - still have more than 220000 rows - but somehow I think I will do it just that way....if any better soulutions is there youre welcome.Thank you for your help and spending your time here.Andrej

Only thing I can suggest is using Mylog as per attached setting the From Date to 2019/01/01/ 00:00:00 and as you can see you get in the last time column every hit from your box

Hi,
it goes slowly but it goes.In the database I select "aircraft" and select one field in the mode-s then just hold the down cursor key to scroll down all the time while with the mouse I click fast on delete.You can get between 100-200 rows deleted in a minute with a little practice.I am now already at 175000 so in a few days I will get to zero.
