Getting Started/receiving signals
« on: October 19, 2008, 04:21:01 PM »
Help!

Just setup software - finally realised the activation code details on sticker - but now it would seem there is no connection between hardware, software and PC.  Have tried on several computers.

Is there a delay to wait until my things are registered / activated?

Don't know if it is relevant, but the unit powers up, thge USB light is flashing but there is nothing from the signal light.

I'm sure i'm not the first to report teething problems, but this unit was purchased for my father after much deliberation and research.  I refuse to believe there are no planes in the vicinity :-)

Please advise

Regards

Steve

I think you sent a support a ticket as well.

Did you install the drivers? When running RadarBox does it say hardware not connected even though you have it connected it to your pc.

Yes I did - thought I'd exhausted all the possibilities and it was something as simple as the connecting lead in rear of black box not being pushed all the way home.  Now it is just a case of setting up preferences.  THe steep learning curve (and fun) begin here.  Panic over:-)

A nice cuppa and read of the manual to follow.

Thanks
