Anyone else experiencing problems getting the network to fire up?
-
We do confirm network is up and running now and we've had no downtime in the last 24 hours.
-
network off
-
Thanks for the prompt answer.
It did come on after about five minutes but now it's gone again.
Is anyone else having the same problems?
-
NO
-
Remember if your not getting the network check our status page first.

Down again!
-
One more time please always check:

Most of the reports we get of the network being down are problems of users internet conenctions.
-
Just checked... and the status page says "Offline" ;)
-
We are aware :) the checker site (another company which checks our services are up) is having issues. Rest assured everything is up at the moment.
-
I am very disappointed that, having had the network for less than a week, the three times when I really wanted to use it, it has been offline.
-
Its working OK for me and its been OK since I switched on at 0800 here in the UK, are you sure its not your ISP having issues.

Evanelpus,
When was the last time you wanted to use it? The stats are showing from our external monitoring and internal that it was only May 4th to the morning of the 5th that we had an outage that was mentioned on the forum. There has been no other outage since.
Whenever there is an outage the forum gets busy with posts about it and we get emails as well as our monitoring shows warnings. None of this has happened since the 5th. What type of internet connection are you using? and were other sites appearing fine during the outage?

Twice last week and yesterday morning (Jaspair reported it down as well yesterday). If I'd have known I was expected to give dates and times, I would have made a note of them.
I have a wireless connection from BT and yes, I could get other websites to work at the time I reported the outage. I'm not stupid and I find your answer quite condescending.
I have read from past posts that the network has been down yet your status page has shown it to be working.
I wish I'd never subscribed to the network. Is there any chance of a refund?
-
It was definately up yesterday morning
Alan
-
Thanks Alan.
After the first two aborted efforts, I reloaded the software hoping it was something I had done wrong. All was well on Saturday but not on Sunday (as reported also by jaspair).
Maybe I should have bought that lucky heather from the gyspy in the town centre!!

"It was definately up yesterday morning
Alan"

Just dont tell the wife !!

Evanelpus,
The server was running yesterday fine in the morning, if it was down for a considerable time there would have been many posts and customers would have replied to your post. Sunday is usually a very busy time for the network as many customers are on-line. We wonder whether jaspair is using the same isp as you.
Furthermore you mention refund, but we find no order for the network under your forum email address. Your 1st post also indicates your a new customer so you may not be aware that in your 1st year you get a free delayed subscription.
Also our posts mentioned that the Status page was showing the services offline when it was actually running, not the other way round.
-
Evanelpus,
Furthermore you mention refund
My attempt at humour obviously has failed.
-
Just dropped out here, I reloaded everything but it is still down?
-
It was down for 15 minutes while some changes were made to the website and server.
-
I take you are aware and are working on getting the network back up Airnav.

-
does anyone know how long its going to be down for, not moaning just wondering
-
It's getting to be more off than on !
-
Still down, any news AN?
-
We are aware and doing our best to get it back up.
We did change the server software earlier this week to handle the increased the load on the server. As mentioned in that post we were checking and monitoring it to make sure it can handle the increased load for the future.
-
Thanks for the prompt reply AN (as always!). Good to know you're on the case - the link to Network status, still comes up as a blank, this needs to be sorted so it works - that would save us having to check our equipment is working properly. Many thanks and regards to all the team.
-
In case you haven't noticed, the rest of the site is coming up like that. Only the forum is staying up.
-
Well done AN, network back up 1405 UTC!
-
Back up and running.
Thanks
Alan
-
If it goes down again go to FlightRadar24 until AN sort things out, it's live and pretty good.
-
Network appears down again
Alan
-
And the Status page is down, too.
Rod
-
Yep - down again. It seems more fragile at the moment that at any previous time over the last 3 1/2 years.
No doubt at some point before dawn Airnav will hit the reset button. At least without the network the number of alerts I recieve might go up slightly.
-
We are taking a look.
-
Should be back up in a few minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience.
-
We have noticed that this problem is happening every Wednesday at the same time leaving the network server down for 1 hour. We are continuing our efforts to find out what is causing this.
