Hi X, it is and added into the d/b yesterday afternoon

781149,B-8363,1818,Airbus A330-343E,China Southern Airlines
I am presuming 400151 to be a corrupt packet with a few messages received rather than a miscode
7C0639 decodes to Tiger Moth VP-BIJ which is still current on the Aussie register today

Alan

I do not think a Tiger Moth would be climbing to 41000ft so one can only assume it is a wrong code but I had 30 pings over 7 minutes, nothing else was in the area that it could be mixed up with it....unless Russky Mils have started using Aussie codes we have another mystery...Hahaha

Both 400151 and 400159 were pinging at the same time on my box for 17 minutes at 34000ft heading North towards LED. I had 130 pings from the 'miscode' and 1030 pings from 400159 but I have picked 400151 up 10 times this year. The aircraft was in clear line of sight so I have to believe it was 'double' pinging.

X

The Aussies don't put new aircraft on the register until they actually arrive on Aussie soil so I will watch the register for an update.  The fact that it didn't show a flight ID same as 400151, leads me to believe that it is not as it seems but time will tell.

Does 400159 double ping on every occasion you pick it up or only occasionally.

424378,VP-BLN,7843,Airbus A320-214,Aeroflot Russian Airlines  Internet crap here so don't have the Airnav network so relying on posts for new ones but nothing on this one until your post

Thanks again

Alan

Alan

400151 does not ping everytime 400159 is around. I picked up 400159 four times yesterday but 400151 only once. I have picked up 400151 10 times and 400159 about 100 times this year, so only occasionally do I get this double pinging. Will look out for 400151 next time it shows up and see if 400159 is around.
