A friend also picked up unknown 504DF2 in Al Ain area (well out of my range), I wonder if the 76's are going through their seemingly annual change of reg's or it could one of the ER- An26's transitting from/to FJR over AAN.

Pretty sure now that this is 60-0356 K35R miscoding as we know its in the area should be AE04E8.

   AE0CE8  ELITE38                                                     2012/11/08 11:04:00
   AE0CE8  ELITE38                                                     2012/11/08 14:22:41

And 8hrs later guess what

  AE04E8  ELITE62                  60-0356 K35R  US - Air Force       2012/11/08 22:11:22

Someone listening in to me?

X

Alan

AE0CE8 has been confirmed as 60-0356 miscoding at Mildenhall 20/21 Nov.

No Kenny, they will be on the server from later tonight and show on network flights.  Unless you add them to your d/b yourself you will require to wait until the next Navdata release in around 10 days.

Alan

Umm  new Navdata in 10 days....  That's mean something.

It means that the new Navdata will be released in around 10 days, simple as that.

There was some discussion on the mode-s forum last night and it is considered that AE0CE8 is indeed a one box miscode of 60-0356 and as such have added it to the d/b.

However nothing confirmed 100% at this time and the mode-s discussion gives the following info which somewhat contradicts your statement that AE0CE8 has been confirmed as 60-0356 miscoding at Mildenhall 20/21 Nov.  It may well have bben the case that it used the other box later in the day on 21st.

" AE04E8 was last reported in the USA on 21.11 but 60-0356 could easily have flown back to the Middle East in the last few days via northern or southern latitudes, thereby avoiding detection.

Where did you get your Mildenhall info from?

Alan

Paul got Mildenhall from Mode S Forum, but neither AE04E8 or AE0CE8 have been picked up since 16/11/12 and there have been several 'new' C135's just arrived so we assume it has been replaced and would be returning to US as is the US norm out here of swopping around six per month late in each month.

I understood it had been confirmed but from your email I assume it was not. I am still howevcer convinced that it is the same aircraft as there was never a cross over in the four months the two codes were noted and all other C135's out here are known and code correctly.

60-0356 populated as BKC3 due to the usual AirNav type glitch so needs you to manually change it at your endand B-3098 has a 4 missing in the c/n ie 145XXXXXX not 15XXXXX

Hi Syd,

Many thanks again

EZY453P is EGPF-EGGD
From what I can find EXS041A is a positioning flight ID

Its your end that needs the manual update.  Its the software on your computer that has the problem.

Added the 4

Cheers
