Title: MiG 29 or A310?
Post by: knight01 on October 08, 2009, 08:48:54 PM
I picked this up on my radar, but it's bit confusing regarding aircraft type.

Mode S - 3F8515

A well known problem caused by the registration look-up on airliners.net

All being well, there should be a fix for this before too long.

Lol, just checked my log and it's on mine too (being about 10 miles from where that plane is shown)

Yes, I picked that up too at 2138 somewhere near Rugby.

Was sulking as my broadband died last night but was pretty pleased to pick up the following military aircraft from my internal aerial:

  AE1458  RCH6154                  06-6154 C17   United States Air... 2009/10/08 19:13:36
 * 3F8515  GAF411                   10+21   A310                       2009/10/08 21:38:01
 * AE058D  QID93                    58-0016 K35R  USA - Air Force      2009/10/08 19:37:58
 * AE04FE  QID94                    58-0100 K35R  USA - Air Force      2009/10/08 19:42:02
 * AE066D  QID91                    62-3565 K35R  USA - Air Force      2009/10/08 19:42:02
 * AE07BF  QID92                    63-7979 K35R  United States Air... 2009/10/08 19:34:46
 * AE05CD  SCARS54                  82-0054 C130  USA - Air Force      2009/10/08 20:03:33
   AE12B0  TALON72                  88-0191 ...   USA - Air Force      2009/10/08 19:45:43

All somewhere in the Midlands - am impressed, never thought I'd see so much activity from an inside aerial in a groundfloor flat in a low-lying dip - can't wait till I get a proper external antenna up and running...
