Title: RB and BTS
Post by: e on March 25, 2008, 12:44:01 PM
Hi

I'm planning to buy RB and mount its antenna with preamp on my mast on the roof.
There're also GSM BTS antennas not far away from my mast (roughly 2 meters),
although my ham radio antennas are above their level. Will such close vicinity
cause any undesirable effects - like lessened sensitivity or rx blocking in
RB ?

Its not a million miles away from 1090mhz which ADS-B uses. So anything TX close by might have an effect.

We have not tested this device so I can't give a 100% definate answer but I would say there would be affect if its transmiting nearby.
