Hi E14, the socket on the RB is SMA, the co-ax is RG174.   Garex will supply patch leads http://www.garex.co.uk/patch%20leads/patch%20leads.htm my personal choice is to go for 300mm or 450mm rather than the 6"/150mm they refer to.   I've just had a Watson Radar Extender antenna arrive, it is very well made and finished, with N-type femal connector.   It will be a couple of weeks before I get the chance to have a play with it, so can't yet comment on performance.
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!
