Hi all, I've had a major computer failure, and lost all my AirNav folders - can you post the link to V5.00.73 please - full install, hopefully I can get back on and start contributing again.
Thanks Jon

Jon,
These are the latest links :
Full install 5.00.65 :
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB50065Setup.exe
Then upgrade to 5.00.71 :

We aren't on 5.00.73 yet.

Hi Ian, many thanks for that - that's probably why I couldn't locate it - I was sure I'd seen a link to a full install of V5.00.73 a few weeks ago - obviously optimistic and wishful thinking. I think I've got a clean HDD now so will try to download and install V5.00.65.

Cheers Jon,
Glad to be of help.

Hi Ian, now back on line so I can at least view network traffic. I can't run an antenna and contribute data currently as we've had to move out of our house into a very nearby flat so we can sort out the house and get the builders in to carry out our long awaited renovations, and add a balcony on the west side of the house. Once we've got our balcony, I'll be able to install a couple of real antennas, which will be at 220' asl with clear horizons all round, even with the AN standard whip (home modified for outside use) stuck on an old Peugeot 405 brake disc at about 205' asl I was getting up to 300nm range to the west, so may even be able to improve on that with the choice of a Diamond and Radar Extender outside twigs, a very long wire for HF, and several others for HF, VHF, UHF and SHF.

Jon,
Look forward to having you back in action. Remember any logos/outlines updates you might be needing should be on Rod's downloads page.

Fot info of all. There is no longer a need to download V5.00.65 and then upgrade to V5.00.71.
The V5.00.71 full and upgrade versions are on the support page.

Hi Alan, many thanks for the link, i looked for it, but couldn't find it for some reason (probably my IT incompetence!). Will download and start over - good job I'm not worried about keeping My Log or DB updates! CGJon

Hi again Alan and Ian, 5.00.71 downloaded, installed and running correctly, network still hovering around the 1800 mark - remember when it was 200 or less. I couldn't find it because I was searching for "V5.00.73" not 71 - as I said above my IT incompetence. Having not accessed RB since 13/02/2014 (another dumb-arse question coming up) how do I zoom in on an individual A/C?
-
You should get around 2200 most days so getting better. Easiest way is to click on the aircraft either on the grid or on the map and them use the plus or minus sign to go in our out or if you have a scroll mouse click on the aircraft on the grid or the may and scroll in or out.

Thanks for that Alan, I've only got access on my lap-top with no mouse - tried using Shift with Cursor arrows, + and - . A double left click centres to A/c, but no zooming in or out, just stuck with the opening world map screen.
-
Sorry John, I don't know any other way. I just click on the aircraft on the grid and then use the + or - on the second top line under Map/3D View to zoom in or out.

Hi Alan, many thanks, I said it would be a dumb-arse question, I was using the keyboard + and - , not the RB program's - all OK now! Thanks again, CGJon

Cheers John.

FYI, there are two other ways of zooming the map in and out. Click anywhere on the map, then you can use the mouse wheel forwards (in) and backwards (out). Or, on the keyboard's numberpad, you can press the + or - keys.

Thanks for that Rod, didn't work, doh! Press the "Num Lock" key you dipstick - ahhh..... now it works.
