Hi Michael

Got your PM, been busy today.

Regarding the network, it is up to you weather you run it or not.  With 10,000 live flights to process every 20 seconds it is very processor intensive.  Its easy to switch off, just untick Get Flights from Radarbox Network bottom left on the network page.  That way you are only seeing the flights your rceiver is picking up om the My Flights tab

FTP ignore it

As a start I would suggest the following options

Map untick Vertical Tracking View
Tools/Interface on Left

Preferences - General  leave as is
Preferences - Legends and Labels  leave as is
Preferences - Radarbox  Tick Share Flight Data
Photo and Aircraft Auto Populate  tick all
Route Auto Populate tick auto popuate
                                    Leave the rest as is
Click Apply and OK before leaving page

Preferences Home Station Data  enter you Lat/Lon in deciaml format
Click Apply and OK before leaving page

After that its up to you alter any setting as you like

Thanks for repying Michael, however theres a number missing, all stations have 6 numbers.

I was just wanting to look at your receiver on RB24 to see your coverage.  As you are feeding you eligble to have a business account on Radarbox and will be able to download and install the RB app on your phone without charge if you would like it

Good morning pal yeah I am pretty pleased with the free upgrade, I have recently purchased a new ADSB antenna and its very good albeit that I am pretty well surrounded by trees on all sides that my range is only 170 miles, maybe i will have better luck in the autumn.

Okay a few questions is the flightstick better than the original radarbox of which I am still trying to get it connected and if I do will it clash with the flightstick?

What do the colours red green and blue signify on the radarbox screen

Is it worth getting an ACARS decoder and can I use the same ADSB antenna

Red climbing
Green descending
Blue level flight

ACARS requires radio and an antenna I believe

Flightstick will be better than the original box as it has newer electronics

Michael

File/Preferences/Legends and Lables/Grid Visible Columns and tick Dist(NM)

Regarding the monitor, couple of ways you can do it, either by a computer and monitor or connect a monitor to your laptop using an appropriate cable, if its a newish computer it may have a HDMI port to connect to a monitor

Regarding details on the app, click on the 3 dotd, bottom left, click map options and move the slider for Show Labels and the sliders for what detail you want on the lables
