Title: Email alerts have suddenly stopped
Post by: John Hargreaves on April 04, 2009, 11:23:04 PM
Hello all,

As of yesterday my email alerts have suddenly stopped. On initialization I usually got around twenty to start with due to Ryanairs, Emirates and other new frames I have programmed in. Then I can expect a steady stream every few minutes. As of today no alerts on initialization and nothing else. Have tried reloading my requests and rebooting my pc several times, but still no joy. As a last resort I activated 'Notification message' and now I am getting 'Notification messages' and the emails are flowing again!
Can anybody explain this one to me please?

Thanks,

John H.

Not sure, if its been working for longer than an month I don't see how a setting could disspear as its saved in the registry unless something got corrupted in there and the details need to be saved again by activating the alert way.

Email alerts didn't last long. Back to square one!

Well every so often I will lose all of my Alerts and the map will reset to defaults and show the height graph underneath with no interface...

Are those settings saved in the registry also?

Thanks & regards,

They are saved in the registry, for those to change it can either happen due to corruption due to a crash however that should be unlikely.
