I have a query regarding YV3062.  A1E023 decodes to N22RD.  This registration is current on the FAA list but as expired since 2015 so am happy to use the hex code again.  However there was not a Turbo Commander c/n 099 as a previous user of the registration.  There was however a Rockwell Jet Commander c/n 099 which used the registration.  Will it be this one that is now YV3062?

Found out why I changed RA-86906, It was on FR24 as RF86906!!!! Silly error on my behalf as my Log shows its c/s as AZAZ0909 and reg as RA-86906 prior to the change

Hi Tyke,

I am more than happy to take contributions to the database.

The normal information gets added to the database hex, registration, c/n and l/n if appropriate, owner/operator, operator ICAO code and ICAO TYPE CODE all as per this one I have just added.  C02ED9,C-FRTG,37184/558,Boeing 787-9,Air Canada,ACA,B789.  However if all that is known is the hex code or even the hex and registration, I can usually find the required details so I am happy to take whatever is available from contributors.

The database used by Radarbox24 is the Navdata for Radarboxes/Micro Radarboxes which is available for users of these receivers to download sometime during the early hours of the European morning.  YR-BGJ has been added as follows 4A08EA,YR-BGJ,63701/6390,Boeing 737-800WL,TAROM,ROT,B738 and it will be in the Navdata available in the early hours of our morning around 0200 and the aircraft will show the details thereafter on Radarbox24

Note that we use the 800WL as per Boeing since they changed a few months back

Good evening Alan.

My question was more regarding the website tracking page rather than the paid software/hardware.  Eg. https://www.radarbox24.com/data/registration/EI-FZA does not tell me anything about the frame other than it is a B738 under the 'aircraft' column.  Do you not display the frame info such as hex, msn, full type, airline on the website tracking pages like FR24 does, eg. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/ei-fza ?  It's not important to me personally but I just thought it was odd that there's no frame details anywhere that I can see.

I tried the ROT link again https://www.radarbox24.com/data/registration/yr-bgj but it only says "Sorry but we don't have any information for your request".  Is that to be expected if no box has picked up the hex yet or should there be some information showing there regardless?  The problem this creates is you have no way of knowing if the frame is already listed in the database.

By the way, contrary to popular belief, Boeing still use the full 3 char designation interally on all types except the 787s and 737 Max's so you will find them listed correctly in my messages.  If you wish to shorten them to generic types then that's entirely your choice!

I will round up all the recent new ones that have been seen pinging and post them later. :)

I thought that I was answering the question for RB24 as well  as the receivers but as you state that may well not be the case.

As you can see from the attached shot RB24 shows the hex code, registration, full aircraft type, Type ICAO code, airline in fact all the details you mention apart from the msn.  I haven't delved far into RB24 as I use the receiver for monitoring traffic but I will ask if the full aircraft details are available somewhere on RB24 and make the suggestion to them that its inclusion would be appropriate.

Regarding YR-BGJ the page you gave the link to looks like flight history so as the aircraft has not been picked up in its new guise, there are no details to show and expanding the page as detailed above would be required to show the info on the aircraft itself as well as its flight history.

Regarding the Boeing flights I have tended in the past to use the Puget Blog for their first flight details but as you are aware it has become rather haphazard in being updated so any information you are able to provide would be appreciated.  If its on the Puget Blog its in the d/b and I receive the weekly FAA list updates as well to update the database so am relatively up to date and the new ICAO type codes were added the day they were published.

Just received your latest post and will go through it to check them out and add in if necessary.
