Hi RB24 Dev
Can you give us a clue as to how the Apple and Android (especially Android) apps are progressing, and when we can expect a (beta?) release?
Rod
-
Rod: we are first developing the iOS apps and after that Android. We hope to have the iOS released in the end of June and Android 1 to 2 months after that. Our intention is to have a RadarBox product available on all platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, Web and Hardware).

Thanks for the update, Dev.

I can't resist: Somehow I doubt, that there more iOS operated then android operated smart-phones out-there. Therefore: why starting with the iOS based app?
Ingo

I can only speculate:
- I believe the return on investment is better on the IOS platform.
- Perhaps development is quicker/easier/cheaper for IOS ?
- Perhaps it's being written for both marketplaces simultaneously and for whatever reason AirNav has chosen to release to the IOS community initially.
-
- and if the released app is buggy, less consumers will complain because of these bugs.

iOS is _much_ easier to develop in than Android. There is no standard between phones, so what works on one may not work on another. Plus iOS users almost always have the latest version of the OS running. Android does not do that, so you have different devices with different capabilities running different OSs. All called "Android."
iOS is the same device capabilities and for the most part the same OS version.

Will this App be Free for Air nav radar box owners?it should be. I know if you are an FR24 feeder there app is Free.
-
We will have "RadarBox24 Elite" which is being finished and is free for all active data sharers.
We plan to finish it within 1 month and then submit it to the app store (which usually takes 1-3 weeks for final approval and release).
-
Hi All,
I downloaded the app this morning. As premium-feeder I had to pay € 4,49 for this....
Kind Regards, John
-
All feeders will have free access to the RadarBo24 Elite app.
Is it still being developed and should be out in a few weeks.
-
Hi Development,
Thank you!
Kind Regards, John

How's the Android app getting on?
-
We've just tested the first Beta and it is progressing quite well but still some work to be done.
We will have the second beta ready in 2 weeks.
-
Thanks, Dev.

Almost two month since last request. How is it going with the Android App?

Ingo

Alan
