Hi Folks,
Could You please help or offer Me some advice.
I have just installed My Airnav Radar Box, I have registered and everything online, but I have a constant red light stating "Real-Time Network Nor Connected".......the Hard ware connsction light is Green......... I just cannot get any realtime network coverage !.
Many Thanks#
Neil.
-
Have you ticked Get Flights from Radarbox Network, bottom left on the Network tab screen
Alan
-
Yep tried all that, I registerd My box etc yesterday afternoon amd I have Business user account as I am sharing DATA, but cannot get real time data ?
-
Also are you sending data to the network by having Share Flight Data ticked on File/Preferences/Radarbox. I see from your station page that you are showing yellow for no data and that may explain. Your range is zero so if you are seeing aircraft on your MyFlights tab it looks like while you are receiving data you are not sending data
Alan
-
Hi Buddy,
Yep share data box is ticked.
At the bottom of the radarbox interface it says "Your account expired or you are not Subscribed to Radarbox Network". However I have a Business account as I am sharing/Feeding DATA !!!.
-
I presume that you are a Business account holder for Radarbox24. I dont know if that applies to the network though the V6 software through your Radarbox as you advise you are not subscribed to it
If you are not seeing aircraft on your MtStations page on RB24 you are not sending data, hence the yellow block on the grid
I suggest that you speak to support regarding that issue
Alan
-
Many thanks for Your help Sir,
Do You have a link to "Support" please.
Cheers
Neil.

Neil
If you are not seeing aircraft on your MyStations page on RB24 you are not sending data, hence the yellow block on the grid. Are you seeing aircraft on your MyStation page
[email protected] is the email address and they should reply within 24 hours
Alan
-
I will contact support....... I have to point out that the radarbox hardware itself is somthing I got roughly 8- 10 years ago.......... no whether that is causing the issue because of its age ?
-
Are you using the V6 software or the original that came with the box.
Alan
-
The V6.00.02 version can be found here as using the original software will be your problem
https://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB60002Setup.exe
I suggest that you delete the old version then go in and manually delete any Airnav folders left behind and then install to c:\Airnav not to program files
Alan
-
I will try that now Sir.
-
You will also need the driver package, note they are in zipped format http://www.airnavsystems.com/Download/ANRB/Drivers/ANRB-Drivers-20161222.zip
Alan
-
I assume the Drivers are loaded first before the main siftware ?
-
Load the main software then unzip the drivers into the Airnav Systems/Radarbox/Drivers folder
Alan
-
Hi Alan,
I have tried all of that, I have sent Airnav an email asking them if they can shed any light on the proble.
Many thanks for Your help.
I will keep You up to date as to what they say ( if they reply ).
Cheers
Neil.
-
All I know is that you are not sending any data, see the attached. Does your antenna have a clear view of the sky
Are you seeing aircraft in My flights on the v6 software?
Alan
-
Hi Buddy,
Yep I am seeing aircraft in "My Flights"
Neil.
-
Well as you can see from the screen shot nothing is going out, firewall issue maybe?
Are you getting a good range, your location should give you good coverage, can you give a screen shot?
Alan
-
Neil
As you have updated to the V6 softwae are you able to download Database Updates and are photos showing for the aircraft you are picking up/
Alan
-
Hui Buddy,
At the risk of sounding very stupid, do You think this is a subscription issue ?. Everytime I click on Realtime I get the warning saying " Your account expired or You are not subscribed to Radar box "............ the reason this has thrown Me completely is because online I was upgraded from Basic to Business because I was classed as a "Feeder" to the network.
I assume I still need a Monthly/Yearly subscription ???.
Cheers
Neil.
-
It could well be that as the RB24 and the Network subs are two different things. Usually your RB24 subscription doesnt go to Business until you send data and going from your screen shot you dont seem to be sending data
Some RB24 feeders have detailed that they are getting the network on the V6 software so I dont know if it is related to no data being sent
Alan
-
Cheers Alan,
I wonder why they upgraded Me from Basic to Business then as a " Feeder ".
Very Curious.
Neil.
-
I have no idea Neil
Alan
-
Well I will wait until I get a reply from them, Tomorrow hopefully, to see what they say and see if they can shed any light on the situation.
Many thanks for Your help and advice Alan,
Cheers
Neil.
-
Sorry i couldnt help but at least you are able to see aircraft on MyFlights so you can see what you are picking up even if you are not sharing them
Alan
-
Hi Alan,
Good news, I just had a reply to My email saying that they have activated the Network for Me....... everything is now working well.
Cheers
Neil.
-
Good news indeed, maybe we shall see your feed on RB some day ;-))
Alan
-
Yes Hopefully Alan, Somewhat Ironically I have had to switch it off as I am off out......will be back online later though.
Cheers
Neil.
-
Hi Alan,
May I pick Your Brains please.
From one of Your previous posts You told Me to download the software version ANRB 60002 set up ........ I see on the Airnav Radar box website there is a ANRD60003 set up file.
Would I be better to upgrade it to 60003 set up ?.
Cheers
Neil.
-
No dont download it, stick to the one on the link I sent V6.00.62.
6.00.03 It was altered to allow the xrange receiver to use the software and doing that introduced a few niggles, thats the only difference so stick to the one on the link
Alan
-
Ok Alan, many thanks for the advice.
Cheers
Neil.
-
Hello once again Alan,
( I bet You are sick of hearing from Me ....lol ).
I was wondering can the Airnav ACARS Decoder software be used with the Airnav Radar Box ?. Is it a separate subscription to use the software do You know ?.
-
Hi Neil
As far as I am aware the decoder is a very old piece of software that didnt work very well and is no longer sold
Alan
-
Hi Alan,
Ok thanks for the advice, I will not bother downloading it.
It is still listed on Airnav Radar Box website with a whole lot of other software curiously.
On another subjest..... I am thinking of ugrading the Hardware, the Radar Box I have is a few years old and I see the latest one is about £300 ( from Amazon ) I assume that would be a much better Box than the one I have now ?
Cheers
Neil.
-
Its a lot better but I use the Airnav Flightstick does the same thing for a lot less money.
The X-Range2 is designed to feed RB24 but the V6 software has been amended to work with it in V6.00.03 as I detailed
Alan
-
Thanks once again Alan, I will take a look at that now Sir.
Cheers
Neil.
-
Hi Alan,
Does the stick track in realtime also
You Mean this :-
-
Thats the one, yes I use it and others with V6 and as the technolgy is newer they work better than the original box. The plus with it is that it connects to my outside antenna with the same SMA connection.
Alan

The software "AirNav Radarbox V6" works in my Windows 10 computer with all dongles which have RTL2832U & R820T Chips. AirNav V6 detects all these as "microRadarbox" device.
For these dongles to work in Windows10, I had to install DVB-T driver Zadig
Radarbox24 Flightstick (Green color)
DVB-T generic dongles (Black & Blue colors)
Flightaware ProStick (Orange) and ProStick Plus (Dark Blue)
.
-
Hi Alan,
Airnav Radar Stick Ordered and should be with Me at somepoint on Sunday.
I assume the ANRD60003 software will be for this ?
Many thanks
Neil.

Yes it will work with 6.00.03 but I suggest that you stick to the 6.00.02 as there are less bugs in it as previously detailed and no extras added
The drivers work for all Windows versions
Alan
-
I look forward to its delivery and setting it up.
Cheers Alan and may I wish You a very happy new year......lets hope it is much better for us all than 2020.
Neil.
-
One things for sure Neil, it cant be any worse. Happy New year
Alan
-
Hi Alan,
Is the Radarbox VHF stick Ok to use ?
Neil.
-
Dont see why not, you would not be able to broadcast it though as not legal but ok for own use
Alan
-
Hello Alan!
I have a question is AirNav's Green Flightstick
For RB24 or Radarbox I want for my weekend
Residing a radar box or stick is important to me though
That I can edit my list too. Like mine
Old but good Radarbox RB24 without edit is possible
Nothing for me, of course.
LG from Austria Erich
-
Hi Erich
The Airnav flighstick is able to be used like any other receiver either standalone with V6 with or without the network or to feed RB24 as you like. Whatever you could do with the original radarbox you can do with the Flightstick.
I have my stick connected to my main computer and have another for use with my laptop when travelling to airports
Can be used on Windows or Pi
Alan
-
Thanks Alan for the quick answer, so a flight
stick but currently not available at Amazon.
Thanks Alan
Eric
-
Its available in UK, maybe support can advise regarding Germany
Alan
-
Does anybody know how to set up the Radarbox VHF Airband Flightstick ( Yellow ).

Cheers

Suggest you ask support
